DESCRIPTION:LA ARTISTA\nDesde temprana edad\, la artista\, Ángeles Devesa\, se ha sentido atraída por el mundo de los tejidos y bordados; entre otros aspectos\, debido a la sensación visual y táctil que producen los materiales y las superficies texturizadas a la hora de trabajarlos\, la lenta meditación que conlleva el crear patrones estéticos con aguja e hilo\, así como la sensación de control que otorga el trabajo cuando éste es realizado a mano. Ella considera el bordado como un proceso lento\, que se va revelando a medida que se trabaja\, permitiendo disfrutar de ir sintiendo poco a poco el patrón emergente. Su pasión por los tejidos ha ido en aumento con cada uno de sus viajes por todo el mundo\, descubriendo textiles y bordados de otras culturas como fuente de inspiración y obteniendo ideas observando la naturaleza y el entorno de cada lugar\, como tomando influencias de otros artistas\, que abarcan desde el arte africano hasta el asiático\, así como del propio arte textil. El arte textil es una de las formas más antiguas de expresión en la civilización humana que ha reflejado una visión personal e íntima de cada sociedad. A medida que pasa el tiempo\, los tejidos se van volviendo cada vez más complejos\, lo que nunca deja de sorprenderla. Sin embargo\, ella utiliza en sus creaciones únicamente algodón y lino\, prefiriendo este último por tratarse de una fuente renovable de textil con un menor impacto ambiental\, además de ser una de las telas más antiguas que existen\, lo que\, para ella\, lo convierte en un material de lujo. El textil tiene tantas posibilidades creativas que permite decorar una casa\, crear piezas de escultura blandas o moldear tela y fibra\, ya sea en plano o tridimensionalmente\, como muestra en sus últimas obras de arte realizadas en Llerena (Badajoz)\, donde reside y crea en la actualidad.  \n

SUMMARY:Exposición: "Amor sagrado y amor profano"\, de Zurita
DESCRIPTION:Amor sagrado y amor profano es una muestra expositiva que recorre los últimos diez años de producción de Jesús Zurita Villa (El Carpio\, 1990).  \nPartiendo de la frase de Simone Weil que sentencia como un dogma que “El deseo de luz produce luz” el pintor tiene presente en su obra que el anhelo metafísico es generador de valor y creador de una belleza que invita en su contemplación a la reafirmación de esa trascendencia. \nLa remisión a lo divino no radica exclusivamente en la lectura simbólica de la obra\, pues parte de lo evocado transita por la vía de lo inefable. En este caso la voluntad plástica no es la mera ilustración de un concepto\, al serle la materialidad de la obra inextricable. Sirvan de ejemplo los papeles antiguos que hacen de soporte y que atestiguan la inquietante presencia de un tiempo pasado\, el uso de estructuras propias del arte espiritual como el tríptico\, o el minucioso uso del grafito y de las pátinas\, que remite tanto a la mano que lo ejecuta como a la tradición que se hereda. \nEn su intento por establecer un puente entre la sensibilidad y la razón\, Schiller definió en su día la belleza como la garantía sensible de la invisible moralidad. Esta es la estética que se dimana de unos dibujos y unas pinturas que inspirados por la conmoción del hombre ante la dimensión espiritual del amor pretenden rebasar esta experiencia a través de la senda de lo simbólico.  \nZurita es licenciado en Bellas Artes por la Universidad de Sevilla\, fue residente de la XIII promoción de la Fundación Antonio Gala y ha sido comisario de siete ediciones del festival de arte contemporáneo SCARPIA. \n  \n
